Lobato

The family name Lobato has survived for over a thousand years beginning in Spain and ending up in the United States in San Luis, Colorado. The first Lobato was documented in 200 AD in Galicia, Spain then migrated throughout Portugal. An ancestor of this lineage crossed the ocean to America in the 1500s. Many descendants of this lineage participated in many historical events throughout the Americas, including events in Panama, Peru, Mexico, New Mexico and Colorado.
