Description

In this well researched, popular biography, Sister Mary Jean Dorcy, O.P. relates the providentially inspired life of St. Dominic Guzman. Except for the grace of God and the turn of some unlikely circumstances, St. Dominic might have remained unknown to the world. Now he is known as the saint who fought the Albigensian Heresy, multiplied bread and wine, raised people from the dead, converted thousands with his preaching, gave the world the Rosary, and founded the Dominican Order. In just five years previous to his death he had launched a spiritual movement that has changed the shape of history.
