The Saga of Bob Thoe: A Trilogy: The Second Third

In The Second Third of this trilogy, The Saga of Bob Thoe, the years1950 to 1980 of his life describes some of the extreme experiences of the author in the second 30 years of his 90 some years of active living. In the early part of this volume, John and Annie were born. During the 1950s Bob was again a PPC in a patrol squadron that included detachments to European areas. At the close of his sea duty tour, he specialized as an Aeronautical Engineering Duty Only officer, serving as project engineer in R&D of helicopter engines, production engineer in an overhaul and repair facility, and staff duty on a Pacific Area Air Command Staff. He retired from the Navy in July 1963 followed with a decade as a project engineer with two different large aerospace industries.
